KPIC & PAPS Partnership
Keane Pension and Investment Consultants Limited (KPIC) and Public Authority Pension Services Limited (PAPS) have entered into a partnership arrangement and as a result we are in a position to greatly increase the range of services we provide to Public Sector Bodies and their staff.
KPIC provides independent advice on Pension Planning, Group Risk Schemes and Investments. Its aim is to ensure clients receive an efficient, professional and accountable service. The Company is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland to offer broad based advice on all areas of financial planning. KPIC provide their services to Individual Clients, Corporate Clients and Public Sector Bodies. KPIC has implemented and manages a large number of Public Sector Group AVC Pension Plans and Public Sector Group Risk Plans.
PAPS provides pensions expertise and administrative support to a wide variety of Public Sector Bodies. PAPS offers a reliable and professional service to Public Sector Pension Schemes and to those responsible for their management and administration.
Together KPIC and PAPS will provide an extensive and efficient service to Public Sector Bodies to ensure they receive the service and support that best meets their needs.
Meet the Directors
Damian joined the civil service in 1974 and left it in 2009 to set up his own public sector pensions consultancy business, Public Authority Pension Services Limited (PAPS).
Damian is the Managing Director of PAPS, he spent most of his civil service career in the public sector pensions area, in particular as manager of the Local Government Superannuation Scheme (LGSS), one of the largest public sector pension schemes. Damian was also involved in the development of the pensions element of an integrated HR system for local authorities. He also represented the LGSS in the European Association of Public Sector Pensions Institutions, drafted a number of pension schemes, including the Local Government (Superannuation) (Consolidation) Scheme 1998 and wrote a number of papers and reports on how the management and administration of public sector pension schemes could be improved.
Damian is a member of the Irish Institute of Pensions Management (MIIPM), a member of the Institute of Management Consultants and Advisers (MIMCA) and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).
Mark has worked in the Life and Pensions industry since 1992. Mark is the Managing Director of KPIC and a Director of PAPS. He also holds directorships with Newcourt Retirement Fund Managers Limited and Newcourt Pensioneer Trustees Limited.
Since 1992 Mark has developed an extensive technical knowledge of all areas of Private and Public Sector Pensions. Mark Holds a B.A. in Economics and Applied Mathematics, a Qualified Financial Advisor Diploma (QFA) and Life Insurance Association Pensions Diploma (LIAP). He is also a Revenue Approved Pensioneer Trustee.
Caroline began working in the Life and Pensions industry in 1999. Caroline is a Director of PAPS and an Associate Director of KPIC.
Since 1999 Caroline has developed extensive technical expertise in all areas of Private and Public Sector Pension Planning, Investments and Group Risk Schemes. Caroline holds a Diploma in Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin, a Professional Diploma in Financial Advice (QFA) and a Professional Diploma in Retirement Planning Advice (RPA).
